Well here we go… 6 and a half years into my Irish journey I am writing my first blog post. Post 2020 and into a very uncertain 2021, the times are tense, everyone shouting out ‘which side are you on’? Here at Inse Na Scartie we don’t see things like that. We don’t choose sides, we prefer everyone to accept each other and get along.
The website is a work in process atm and no-one will be reading this today but hopefully by Imbolc (February 1st, First day of Spring in the Celtic calendar, my mother’s birthday) and hopefully the world will have worked out a way to work with nature in order to get out of this lockdown. I am African and cannot fly as usual to spend a month with my mother and family. Its hard but try to remain in the moment. People are struggling with uncertainty and different information – who do we trust? Where is the Truth? Where did it go? Ask Oswald or Ruby, they ortta know’
