Once upon a time I jumped over the Irish sea and into the Ring of Kerry, landing in the Inny Valley to a 300 year old Irish cottage. I knew little about rural Irish life but had plenty of dreams and set about planting. Plant, plant, plant, for the bees and the birds, the butterflies, myself and any visitors. Post 2020, the gear has changed and the value of places like this will be more in demand. A place where you can harvest food and fruit from the garden, teach your children about nature, breathe fresh air, drink clean mountain water and trigger imaginations into what is possible.
A world where nature is respected, little is wasted, where there is a place for everything and everything has it’s place. Where everyone is welcome regardless of class, colour, creed, country or age. Where imagination rules the world. Where ‘rubbish’ is transformed into something of useful beauty. Where peace and responsibility reigns. Where dreams, schemes and themes are born and thrive.
You are very welcome. Bon voyage.
